The Litchfield Farmers’ Market is moving outdoors for the summer season!

John Langer, left, and Rick Telman put up the Litchfield Hills Farm-Fresh Market sign at the corner of West Street and Woodruff Street in preparation for the opening of the market's summer season.  The market will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays into October and as always – held in the parking lot at the Litchfield Center School.  See you there!

Rod Dixon’s KiDSMARATHON just completed their final miles at these schools: Cheshire High School, Glastonbury, EO Smith High School, Danbury, Philip Smith School, Waterford High School, Trumbull High School, Waterbury, Main Street and Torrington.  What a successful year it was.

Rod Dixon visits Staten Island for 5K Run at Clove Lakes Park

Dixon has become a worldwide advocate for children's health and fitness, through exercise and nutrition. He estimates that 300,000 young people have participated in his KiDSMARATHON program while learning positive life-long habits.
 
"I know the kids are engaged and they enjoy running," he said. "I grew up when running was a form of punishment. Now kids love to run because they were born to run."
